Shadow Day Registration

Our 2023 Shadow Days are scheduled for the following dates.* Each Shadow Day is from 7:40 a.m. to 3 p.m. Space is limited for each day; once a date is full, we will indicate this below.

• Friday, October 6, 2023
• Friday, October 27, 2023
• Wednesday, November 1, 2023 (*Our 8th grade guests will attend our 8 a.m. All Saints Day Mass.)
• Friday, November 10, 2023
• Thursday, November 16 (NEW DATE ADDED!)

• The school day is from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.  All 8th grade guests should arrive by 7:40 a.m. Students should be dropped off at the front entrance under the stained glass.
• Eighth graders are not required to wear their grade school uniform; they may dress comfortably in appropriate clothes for school. T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, sweatpants, jeans, and comfortable shoes are all fine to wear!
• Students may bring a water bottle to have with them throughout the day.
• Lunch will be provided to students free of charge. Students may opt to bring their own lunch if they wish or if they have special dietary needs.
• Students will be dismissed at 3 p.m. and can be picked up in the front driveway. Please be advised that the front driveway gets crowded by 2:45 p.m.

On the morning of each of the six primary Shadow Days, eighth grade parents are invited to learn more about Mercy McAuley from our school leaders in a small, conversational setting. Join our school leaders for coffee and discussion about Mercy McAuley's values, our academic and extracurricular offerings, and get answers to all of your questions. Optional tours are available following the conversation. These Coffee Sessions are held on the scheduled Shadow Days, which makes it convenient for parents who are dropping their daughter off to shadow. If you plan to attend the coffee session, please indicate this on the Shadow Day registration form.

*All  Parent Coffee Sessions will take place from 8 - 9 a.m. EXCEPT on November 1. On November 1, the coffee session will take place from 9 - 10 a.m., following our 8 a.m. all-school All Saints Day Mass. Parents are welcome to join us for the Mass at 8 a.m. and stay for the 9 a.m. coffee session.)
