Mercy McAuley High School is a new all-girls, college preparatory Catholic High School sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. It is centrally located in College Hill, just minutes from I-74, Ronald Reagan Highway, and I-75. The school will open for its inaugural year in August of 2018.
Mercy McAuley is where young women gain a broader worldview as part of a community, not part of the crowd. Within this sisterhood, we guide each student to grow in confidence and purpose through a customized plan for personal growth. Mercy education is a diverse range of formative experiences, innovative programs, experiential education and off-campus service learning opportunities. Women of Mercy think and learn beyond their comfort zone and are equipped to bring compassionate change to the world.
The Mercy Charism and the teachings of the Catholic Church are at the heart of Mercy McAuley, along with the Mercy-based values inspired by Catherine McAuley: Faith, Compassion, Service, Leadership and Excellence. At Mercy McAuley, we empower and inspire our students to use their God-given talents and become the best version of themselves. Through countless opportunities for leadership development, students become faith-filled Women of Mercy who are ready to take on the world.
Mercy McAuley’s challenging academic curriculum focuses on individual excellence and personalized learning. Our offerings include a wide range of courses and electives that prepare students for college, careers, and a life of continual learning. We believe that valuable learning also takes place outside the walls of traditional classrooms. That’s why our innovative class schedule includes dedicated time for enrichment programs such as college courses, online classes, service experiences, mentoring programs and much more.
From competitive athletics, to music, theater and arts, to countless clubs and extracurriculars, Mercy McAuley offers numerous ways for students to get involved, develop their leadership skills, meet new friends, and have fun!
