Congratulations to junior Kat Bowman, who was recently awarded the American Red Cross Central & Southern Ohio Region's (CSOR) Marvelous Youth Award at the organization's end-of-year recognition event! The organization presents this award each year to one outstanding youth volunteer in the region.
Kat is the Founder and President of Mercy McAuley's Red Cross Club, and this school year, she also served on a youth leadership board as the CSOR youth outreach lead. In this role, Kat served as the contact for youths across the region interested in starting a Red Cross Club at their school and for youths needing assistance in planning a club event. She volunteered 100 hours and helped register 8 new Red Cross Clubs in the region! Next year she will continue to serve on the leadership team as an engagement lead for the CSOR region!
