Mercy McAuley High School Announces Leadership Change

October 30, 2020 - Mercy McAuley High School announced today that Patty Ragio, School President, will step down effective December 18, 2020. We wish her well as she continues both her philanthropic consulting career and pursues her personal and professional goals moving forward.

Ragio has successfully led Mercy McAuley High School since its opening in 2018. Under Ragio’s leadership, Mercy McAuley was able to thrive and exceed both financial and participation goals, setting the school up for future success in fundraising and alumnae outreach. Ragio was also instrumental in leading the completion of a five-year strategic plan to guide the long-term vision of the school. Previously, she served in leadership positions at University of Cincinnati and Mount St. Joseph University.

“We thank Patty Ragio for her service and commitment to Mercy McAuley High School,” said Denise Krueger, Chair of the Board of Directors of the High School. “Over the last three years, Patty has led our School in forming a new community, campus and school traditions.”

Connie Kampschmidt, Principal of Mercy McAuley, will oversee the leadership of the School along with the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, which includes Denise Krueger of Mount St. Joseph University, Tom Otten, former Principal at Elder High School and Patrick Kowalski of University of Cincinnati.

The Board of Directors will immediately form a search committee to recruit the next President to lead Mercy McAuley High School.
