Mercy McAuley Names Class of 2019 Valedictorians & Salutatorians

Mercy McAuley has named two Class of 2019 Valedictorians, and two Salutatorians. This year only, the school will have one Valedictorian and one Salutatorian from each of our legacy schools. Congratulations to the following students on their tremendous academic achievements!

Class of 2019 Valedictorians

  • Lucie Kneip - Lucie has not yet decided where she will attend college, but she plans to major in Political Science and Spanish, with the ultimate goal of becoming an immigration lawyer and working for the UN. 
  • Danielle Nissen - Danielle plans to major in Acting at Wright State University, with the goal of becoming an actress.

Class of 2019 Salutatorians

  • Katelyn Freese - Katelyn plans to major in psychology, with a neuroscience minor, on a pre-med track at the University of Kentucky. Her goal is to become a pediatrician or a pediatric oncologist.
  • Rose Homoelle - Rose plans to major in biochemistry at Ohio State University, where she will also be a student athlete with the synchronized swimming team. Although Rose's career goals are undecided, she says she'll continue to pursue what makes her happy and what drives her to learn more.
