Students Awarded Scholarships from Mercy West Auxiliary

Congratulations to the following Mercy McAuley seniors, who were recently awarded with scholarships from the Mercy Hospital West Auxiliary! These students are all part of Mercy McAuley’s Women Lead Medicine program.

Alyssa Baldwin – $2,500 Volunteer Scholarship
Alyssa will attend Ohio State University, and her goal is to pursue a career in optometry.  Alyssa volunteers at Mercy Hospital West and at the Animal Adoption Foundation and is a member of Mercy McAuley’s softball team.

Emily Dillman - $1,250 Volunteer Scholarship
Emily will attend Ohio State University and plans to major in biological sciences to prepare her for medical school. Emily is president of National Honor Society and a member of Mercy McAuley’s soccer team.

Katelyn Freese - $1,250 Volunteer Scholarship
Katelyn will attend the University of Kentucky and plans to major in psychology. Katelyn is involved in numerous activities at Mercy McAuley, has participated in a mission trip to Give Kids the World, and volunteers at Mercy Hospital West and Special Olympics.

Kathryn Froehle - $1,250 Volunteer Scholarship
Kathryn will attend the University of Cincinnati and plans to pursue a career in pharmacy. She has participated in two mission trips and attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar.

Jacqueline Monnig - $1,250 Volunteer Scholarship
Jacqueline will attend Miami University and plans to major in physical therapy. Jacqueline has volunteered over 65 hours at Mercy Hospital West and has always been interested in a career in medicine.

Grace Miller - $1,250 Community Scholarship
Grace will attend either Indiana University or the University of Cincinnati and plans to study speech therapy. Grace has volunteered at Mercy Hospital West and participated in a mission trip to Give Kids the World.
