College Credit Plus (CCP)

Ohio’s College Credit Plus program can help high school students earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from colleges and/or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students.

Mercy McAuley offers several CCP courses, including:

  • Two Business courses – Intro to Marketing and Intro to Entrepreneurship - through the University of Cincinnati's CCP program. These are online courses, and students have a dedicated bell in their class schedule to complete the work for the courses.
  • Latin IV – This course is through the University of Akron and is taught in person by Mercy McAuley Latin Teacher, Mrs. Rachel Kless.
  • NEW IN 2026-27 – Beginning in 2026-27, students can take the following Math classes as CCP courses through the University of Cincinnati: Precalculus, College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Statistics. These courses will be taught in person by Mercy McAuley Math Teachers Beth Merk and Mark Hafner, who have been certified to teach these courses as CCP classes.
