Parent Perspectives

When Mercy McAuley transitioned to remote learning in the spring of 2020 as a result of the pandemic, our teachers continued to instruct students virtually through the end of the school year. Students followed their regular schedule and attended classes virtually by logging on at the normal time of their courses. Teachers engaged students throughout the process with incredible innovation, and students maintained their normal class routine from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Thanks to our blended learning model that was already in place, students were accustomed to online learning. Below are just a few of our parents' perspectives on the success of our remote instruction during the spring of 2020.
