October 2, 2020 Dear Parents,
It's hard to believe we are nearing the end of the first quarter. I hope our students enjoyed their Wolves Wellness Day today and used it to catch up on school work and/or to enjoy some downtime outside of the classroom. It is important to us to care for our students in mind, body and spirit.
We are looking forward to celebrating with our juniors and their parents next Friday, October 9, at 8:30 a.m. for our Upperclasswoman Initiation Ceremony. Please see below for details.
As I stated in yesterday's email to parents, ongoing conversations related to last week's chalk drawings have been taking place this week with our students. I have talked with each class by grade level, and we are having discussions with students in all theology classes. Such conversations will be ongoing. As promised in our Statement to our Community, we are using this experience as an opportunity to continue our strategic journey toward inclusive excellence and unity in our sisterhood.
As we move forward on this journey together, we will do so with prayer and compassionate, respectful dialogue at the forefront. Thank you for the gift of your daughters, and thank you for your ongoing support of Mercy McAuley High School.
"Let us take one day only in hands at a time. Resolve to do good today and better tomorrow." —Catherine McAuley
Mercy and compassion always in our hearts,
Connie Kampschmidt Principal

Parents of Athletes: Yearbook Needs Your Help! Since we can't have as many students and staff cheering on our athletes this year, our yearbook staff could use your help! If you are at a game or meet, and you take some amazing photos, please consider sharing them with the Mercy McAuley yearbook staff. There are two ways you can get the photos to us:
1. Use the shared One Drive. First, you will need to go to the App store and download the One Drive App. It resembles a blue cloud. After the App is downloaded, come back to this email and click on the link below:
If you click the link above from your phone, the app will open automatically. If you are viewing this email on a computer, you will need to then go back to your phone and open the One Drive app. At the bottom to the right of the camera button, you will see "Shared" with two little people icons. Tap that, and the Fall Sports Photos 20-21 should be visible. Click on the Sport and then your team. At the top you will see a +. Click that to upload photos.
2. The second option is to email the photos to Natalie Fischer, Mercy McAuley's yearbook moderator, at FischerN@mercymcauley.org.
Your help and support are appreciated!
