August 20, 2021 Dear Parents,
"The tender mercy of God has given us one another." -Catherine McAuley
Thank you to all who attended our Follow Your Daughter's Schedule event last night! It was great to see so many parents here on campus! Our school year is off to a great start, and we are grateful for your continued support.
As a reminder, an email was sent to all parents this past Tuesday with an update on the COVID-19 guidelines and procedures we will follow at Mercy McAuley. A copy of that email is found HERE. Please remember that these guidelines are subject to change at any time due to the evolving nature of the pandemic. Thank you for your cooperation.
Students may wear Mercy McAuley spirit wear with appropriate length shorts all next week due to the hot weather that is predicted.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mercy and compassion always in our hearts,
Connie Kampschmidt Principal

Athletics is up and running, swinging and scoring this Fall! We can't wait to see all the Fall teams compete! Thanks in advance for all your support this Fall. We need our Pack to make the Fall season work!
Wolves Luck Number - Wolves Lucky Number tickets were due today. If you have not turned them in yet, please do so on Monday. You can turn them into Mrs. Brady in room 123 or to Mrs. Harvey.
Soccer/VB Gate and Concession - We have sent the links to sign up for volunteer jobs to all Fall teams. Please take a look and help us out when you can. If you would like to see the link for Fall needs, please reach out to Mrs. Brady at bradyj@mercymcauley.org. As a reminder, we ask all parents to work two volunteer job spots.
Cross Country - The Cross Country Wolves were hard at work at the alumnae race last Saturday and are working hard to prepare for the season opener under the lights. Moeller hosts the Prime Time Invitational meet on Aug. 27! Good luck!
Golf - Both golf teams have been battling on the links. GGCL play has begun, and upcoming matches include Fenwick, MND and Oak HiIls. Keep up the hard work, Wolves!
Soccer - JV and Varsity soccer open the season with a home game this Saturday. Game times are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Notre Dame Academy, KY, will travel here to take on the Wolves. This is also a day to celebrate soccer alumnae! All legacy school alumnae and former Wolves are invited to come out and watch our teams.
Tennis - The tennis teams have been battling opponents and Mother Nature! Next week features matches with Colerain, MND, Princeton and SUA. Make plans to head over to the courts at LaSalle and support the Wolves.
Volleyball - All three teams open the season at home on Tuesday vs McNicholas and then travel to St. Henry for a tri-match on Friday. Good luck to all three teams as they start the season!
Updates from the School Nurse
Attention Senior Parents - All students entering the 12th grade for the 2021-22 school year must have a second dose of meningococcal vaccine (MCV4). The second dose must be administered on or after the 16th birthday. If the first dose of meningococcal vaccine (MCV4) was given on or after the 16th birthday, a second dose is not required. Documentation with the Month/Date/Year of both meningococcal vaccines must be submitted to our school nurse, Kathleen Bartish, prior to the first day of school.
Mercy Health Blog - Mercy Health doctors answer some common questions about the COVID-19 vaccine in this week's Mercy Health Blog.
Help us grow our Pack! Fall is a very busy season for recruitment, and we need your help in spreading the word about Open House, which is coming up on October 10. Please encourage your daughter to take an Open House yard sign to display in your yard. Signs are available in the marketing/admissions office on the first floor. Thank you!
Also, please encourage any 8th grade families you know to check out our Class of 2026 web page, which includes all the important details, deadlines and events regarding the admissions process. Shadow Day registration is also now open! Thanks for your help in spreading the word.
Create a New Cafeteria Account Our food service provider, WG Grinders, has partnered with a new vendor - MySchoolAccount.com - for the managing of our lunch service software and payments. All families who wish to utilize a lunch payment account will need to create a new account through www.myschoolaccount.com.
MySchoolAccount.com offers you the ability to make deposits directly into your student's account online or via their mobile app. Here you can track what your daughter has been eating for the past 30 days, transfer funds between students, and have an email reminder sent to you when an account balance gets low. Deposits and payments an be made through ACH (checking/savings) or credit/debit card. We will still accept checks sent to the school (made out to WG Grinders), credit card payments at the register, and cash. Each child's account will be updated in real time, so account balance information will be current daily. In order to take advantage of this service, you will need to create a parent account. Click the link below for instructions on how to set up an account.
