October 8, 2021 Dear Parents,
We had a great time last Saturday at our fall dance! Thanks to all the students, employees and parents who helped make it possible! We also enjoyed seeing all our juniors and their parents today for our Upperclasswoman Initiation Mass and ring ceremony. We are very proud of our newest upperclasswomen!
Our raffle is also off to a great start. Turn-in days will be held on Tuesday and Thursday next week. Thank you for encouraging your daughters to keep selling tickets! All funds raised directly support our students. See below for the list of individual, class and school incentives. Remember, tickets can also be sold online HERE.
We are looking forward to our Open House this Sunday! Many students will be helping us make this event a big success; thanks to all who are spending their afternoon showcasing our school to prospective students and families. They are the heart and soul of our school, and they bring so much passion and energy to this important event! It's going to be a great day!
Today concludes the first quarter of the school year. Time is flying by, and our students are working hard! Next Wednesday, Oct. 13, seniors have a college visit day, the sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT, and freshmen will participate in a day of reflection. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will be finished by 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. There is no school on Thursday and Friday, October 14 & 15. I wish all our students an enjoyable Fall Break!
As always, thank you for your support of Mercy McAuley, and thank you for sharing your daughters with us every day.
"We should be shining lamps, giving light to all around us." -Catherine McAuley
Mercy and compassion always in our hearts,

Volunteers Needed for Raffle Turn-In Days Our annual student Raffle is under way, and we are in need of several parent volunteers to help count money from 10:30 to noon on our Raffle turn-in days. Remaining turn-in days are on Oct.12, 14, 19, 21 and 22. If you can help, please sign up at the link below. Thank you!
Volunteers Needed for Flying Pig Marathon We need you! We have another great opportunity for parents to volunteer and raise money for Mercy McAuley. We are responsible for a cheer station at the Flying Pig. Our cheer station needs at least 35 volunteers and is located at the end of the half marathon on Eggleston Ave. There are plenty of places to park near our cheer station. If you volunteer, you are there cheering from 7:45-11 a.m. on Sunday, October 31. It is a lot of fun, and the Mercy McAuley Parent Pack receives a stipend for volunteering. Please register online at the link below and use the password mercymcauley. Register by October 11 to get a t-shirt. Please contact Brigitte Foley at foleyb@mercymcauley.org with any questions. Thanks!
