| Dear Parents, Although our Catholic Schools Week celebrations were cut short by the weather, we enjoyed three days of fun festivities with our students! We started the week on Monday with a comfy fleece and flannel day. On Tuesday we celebrated Mass together, and students enjoyed Skyline and ice cream for lunch as part of "Celebrate Students" Day. On Wednesday, we celebrated "Legacy Day," and students donned their grade school uniforms and spirit wear! Catholic schools are a gift, and our students are a gift to Mercy McAuley! Thank you for choosing a Catholic, Mercy McAuley education for your daughter. Thank you to all our students and employees for their hard work on these two remote learning days! We are grateful for the gift of technology that allows our learning to continue. Our students have some well deserved days off this month. As a reminder, there is no school for students on the following days: - Monday, Feb. 7 - No School (Employee Inservice)
- Monday, Feb. 14 - No School (Superbowl Monday)
- Monday, Feb. 21 - No School (President's Day)
Please see the update below regarding possible construction on Oakwood Avenue this week. We look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday! Mercy and compassion always in our hearts, Connie Kampschmidt Principal |

| Oakwood Avenue Construction Update Cincinnati Water Works may be doing work on Oakwood Avenue again this coming Monday and Tuesday (February 7 and 8). We do not know for certain if their work will be on schedule as a result of this week's weather. It is possible that you will not be able to enter Oakwood Avenue from Belmont. Therefore, you may need to enter Oakwood Avenue from North Bend Road. We will provide updates as we receive more information. If your daughter drives to school, please pass this information on to her. Thank you! |
