| Dear Parents, Next week is the 3rd annual Girls' Schools Unite campaign, when we team up with the four other area all-girls Catholic high schools to raise awareness and support for all-girls Catholic education. Last year's campaign raised $456,796 among the five schools, and this year, the goal is to raise even more. The campaign calls on alumnae (and current seniors) to make a gift to their alma mater; the high school with the highest percentage of alumnae participation will be "crowned" the winner on May 10. Fox19 news aired a segment about the campaign last night; click HERE to see the story. We are excited about the campaign next week! We enjoyed celebrating the academic achievements of our students at our Academic Awards Night this past Wednesday; thanks to all who attended! Next week, we will celebrate our Wolf Field Day on Thursday, Senior Mother Daughter Mass and Breakfast on Friday, and our Junior/Senior Prom on Saturday. We love this time of year, which is full of so many special traditions for our students. We are also looking forward to our big event tomorrow - The Howl - when we will welcome our parents, alumnae, benefactors, employees and friends for a wonderful evening right here at Mercy McAuley. Many thanks to all who are working so hard to make it a fantastic night. "The tender mercy of God has given us one another." -Catherine McAuley Mercy and compassion always in our hearts, Connie Kampschmidt Principal |
