| Dear Parents, It's hard to believe we are nearing the end of the school year! We've enjoyed some wonderful celebrations with our students over the past couple weeks, including Prom, Academic Awards Night, Senior Sports Nights, Field Day, Senior Mother Daughter Mass/Breakfast, and more. And there are still more festivities to come, including our Spring Concert and Art Show tonight, May Crowning, our Class of 2022 Parade, Baccalaureate Mass, and Graduation! We are looking forward to celebrating a great year with our students and recognizing the accomplishments of our soon-to-be graduates!
Thank you to all who supported the 3rd annual Girls' Schools Unite campaign last week! Although Mercy McAuley did not take home the trophy for highest percentage of alumnae participation, all of the five schools came out winners because together, the schools raised over $367,000 for all-girls, Catholic education. THANK YOU! Please encourage your daughters to continue working hard during these last couple weeks of school leading up to our final exams. I am proud of all our Wolves, who have been working hard all year long. Thank you for all the support you provide to your daughters and to Mercy McAuley! "We should be shining lamps, giving light to all around us." -Catherine McAuley Mercy and compassion always in our hearts, Connie Kampschmidt Principal |

One Community, Many Voices - Summer Assignment As part of the summer homework assignments, Mercy McAuley students have participated in an all-school reading assignment, in which all students read the same book. Each year, the theme of the book focuses on one of the Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy. This summer, we are not requiring all students to read the same book; instead, students will have several options to choose from, including books, movies and podcasts. Please read the details of the One Community, Many Voices summer engagement, including the list of options, HERE. We encourage you to discuss the options with your daughter. Students will sign up for their selection during lunch the week of May 16. If you have any questions, please contact Katie Geckle, Director of Innovation and Engagement, at (513) 681-1800 x1130 or gecklek@mercymcauley.org. |
