Tuition, Financial Aid & Scholarships

At Mercy McAuley, we appreciate the sacrifices that each of our families make to acquire a Catholic education in the Sisters of Mercy tradition. Tuition for the 2023-24 school year is $12,300 plus a $1,000 fee that covers the cost of technology and student engagement (excluding athletics and theater). Mercy McAuley awards academic and Catherine McAuley scholarships and as much financial assistance as our funds allow. We also offer a student work program which may help provide additional resources for families.

HSPT Academic Scholarships

HSPT Academic Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen based on their High School Placement Test (HSPT) scores. For the Class of 2028, eligible students will receive one of the following types of HSPT Academic Scholarships:

HSPT Honors Scholarship - 4-year scholarship (Recipients of the HSPT Honors Scholarship will be invited to participate in the Women Lead Honors Program.)
HSPT Opportunity Scholarship - 4-year scholarship

Tuition Assistance/Financial Aid

Financial assistance is available through the Circle of Mercy Education Aid Fund. Families who wish to apply for Mercy McAuley financial assistance must complete and submit a FACTS financial aid application. There is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $35 to submit the FACTS application. FACTS is an independent service used throughout the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to determine financial need. Mercy McAuley will use the FACTS form as the basis for distributing assistance. Visit the FACTS site for details and to apply for financial assistance.

**If you do not apply for the Ohio EdChoice Scholarship (see below), you will not receive financial aid from Mercy McAuley. Financial aid from Mercy McAuley is a supplement to the EdChoice Scholarship.

Ohio EdChoice Scholarships

Mercy McAuley accepts the EdChoice Scholarship, which is provided by the state of Ohio. The Traditional EdChoice Scholarship is offered to families who live in an underperforming school district. The EdChoice Expansion Scholarship is offered to all students who live in Ohio. Effective July 1, 2023, all Ohio families who complete the application process will be eligible for the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship. Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. Amounts vary based on the primary disability condition identified on the IEP. More information can be found HERE. Work Credit Program

Mercy McAuley also offers an after-school work credit program. The administration of this program complies with the Department of Labor regulations. All monies earned by the student must be processed through Mercy McAuley's payroll. Students will be paid the State of Ohio prevailing minimum wage (currently $10.10/hour). Families must have completed the FACTS Financial Aid application to be eligible for this program. Bless Our Chlidren

Bless Our Children is a non-profit organization that helps children and young men and women participate in extracurricular activities that will enhance their regular educational program. The activities are athletic, spiritual, moral development and educational programs. Members of Bless Our Children work as volunteers for these purposes. Learn more about Bless Our Children HERE.
