Planned Giving

Imagine making one gift that keeps on giving far into the future. This is the idea behind planned giving at Mercy McAuley, otherwise known as Catherine McAuley's Shining Stars Society.

Planned gifts most popularly fund scholarships but can also support building improvements or programs for the arts, athletics, or another specific area. They also allow for enhanced estate planning.

If you have already made a planned gift to Mercy McAuley, we would love to know of your generous support. Please send a letter to Rose Lusheck Eckhoff, Director of Leadership Giving, indicating that you have made legal arrangements for a future gift. Each year we honor our Shining Stars at the Benefactors' Dinner.

A bequest in your will is most common for planned gifts. You can leave Mercy McAuley a specific amount or a specific percentage of your estate. Two other popular planned gifts are done simply by naming Mercy McAuley High School as a beneficiary for your retirement funds or life insurance policy.
